Anne Markstein is the award-winning principal designer and owner of Anne Markstein Interiors. Her firm offers a wide range of interior design services for both residential and commercial clients. With more than 20 years' background in fine arts, interior design and business, Anne's interiors are distinctive and sophisticated, yet very livable. Each project is unique, reflecting the client's individuality interpreted through Anne's design vision. Custom furnishings, an elegant and original mix of materials and styles, the blending of new and old, and careful attention to detail and quality are defining themes throughout her work. has designed spaces for fifteen designer show houses in the
Washington/Baltimore region since moving to Maryland in 1987.
She is a past president of the Baltimore chapter of the International
Furnishings and Design Association. Her work has been recognized
and published in numerous national, regional and local publications,
including Better Homes and Gardens, Decorating Magazine, Window
and Wall Ideas, the Baltimore Sun, Home and Design, and many
others. |
